1. Check the horn assembly
There might be some horns or frames assembled wrongly.
Please check the assembly manual again and check if there weren’t any misassembling.
Please also refer to the following images to see the horn positions.
AX Series / XL-320
Each horn has grooves on them to show its position (red line).
The single red line represents the initial position, and the double red lines represent the opposite position.
Please be cautious of the horn position when assembling the robot.
RX / MX Series
The RX/MX series are sold with the horn separated from the motor itself (in a disassembled state).
Like the AX series, the single line represents the initial position.
On some versions, there will be a dot(s) instead of line(s).
Please be cautious of the horn position when assembling the robot.
2. Check the ID
The ID may have been set differently from how it was instructed on the assembly manual. Please check the ID again, comparing it to the assembly manual, and check from the Manager whether the ID sticker and the actual motor’s ID are the same.
3. Check the offset value
If there is no problem with the horn’s position or ID, please check the offset value.
ROBOTIS-MINI offset value
BIOLOID offset value
