There are two types of horns that we sell.
Normal horn and thrust horn.

1. First, you will need an understanding of a radial bearing and thrust bearing.
The difference between the two lies in the direction of the load on the bearing’s axis.
   - Image A is a radial bearing (normal horn) : the load’s direction is perpendicular to the axis’s direction.
   - Image B is a thrust bearing (thrust horn) : the load’s direction is parallel to the axis’s direction.

2. RX-28’s normal horn structure
The image below shows an example with a normal horn.
It is used when the load is perpendicular to the bearing’s axis.

3. RX-28’s thrust horn structure
The image below shows a structure with a thrust horn.
The thrust horn takes the load on the same direction as the bearing’s axis, so the bearing is placed between the horn and DYNAMIXEL.

4. Thrust horn example
The DYNAMIXELs on the chest are assembled with thrust horns,
and the DYNAMIXEL on the arm is assembled with a normal horn.
You can distinguish them by looking at the direction of the load on their axis.
